Job Description:

• Managing of the IT department
• Responsibility for the entire IT infrastructure and system availability
• Composition of the digitization strategy to ensure and further develop a stable IT landscape
• Conception and implementation of IT projects in coordination with all relevant departments and external service providers
• Planning, preparation and responsibility of the IT budget
• Identifying optimization potential and driving forward digitization processes
• Interface for the business departments and to the IT headquarter in Israel
• Selection, controlling and  cooperation with external IT service providers
• Selection and coordination of external service providers
• Compliance with data protection (IT) and IT security requirements

Your Profile:

• University degree in Informatics/IT Administration or comparable education with appropriate experience professional experience
• Professional experience in the above-mentioned area of responsibility, ideally with initial management experience
• Extensive knowledge in the administration of networks and client/server environments
• Experience in project management and process design
• Good command of written and spoken English and German
• Independent, responsible approach to work and a hands-on mentality
• Ability to work in a team and a high level of commitment
• Certifications such as ITIL, Cisco (CCNA, CCNP), Microsoft (MCP, MCSE) would be an advantage
• Ideally know-how in data protection as well as IT security would be an advantage
